Counting Down the Days...

This post is pretty much a little "Dear Diary" entry, so if you were expecting pictures...sorry you can stop reading now!! I will put pictures up after we get moved! The BIG Move is only 3 days away and I am ready for the day to be here and done before it has even began!! I HATE UNPACKING!! I am praying things will go smoothly and that the rain that is in the forecast will hold off.
Moving....the word that has been on our minds for so long is finally here and I am torn between excitement and sadness. I am going to miss my job, my friends, and a much bigger house!! It makes me sad to think about moving out of the first house Cory and I owned. Especially with it being the house we first lived in as a married couple, the house we brought home our first child to, and the house we spend many nights snuggling as a family together in!! On the other hand it is nice to know Cory will be home more and that he will get the sleep he needs so desperately. He works so hard and has driven so much the past two years! Liam and I are so blessed to have him, so now it is time to bless him with this move! Hopefully this sadness I feel will quickly drift away with new and exciting things that I know God has in store for us in the future!!

On a lighter note...
Cory is out of town this week and I have just been piddling around the house and chasing the busy little man around. He is getting more and more stable with his steps, but I think he still would prefer to crawl because he can move a lot faster!!
Sunday night was my last night at work at Barnes Jewish...well for now anyway...I might pick up a few shifts. That is if I don't get the job I interviewed for last Tuesday!! They still have not called me back and I am getting impatient! I want this job a lot, especially because the insurance and benefits are AMAZING!! They would cover Liam's surgery and we would only owe like $125 out of pocket!!!
Well, we can't wait to see everyone very soon and I will post pictures of the new house once we get settled in and organized!!

I think I updated most people, but if you didn't get the info yet here it is!!

Walking, Walking, and more Walking!!

Just in time for him to be running around while we are trying to move! Uh-Oh I guess that means Liam can help carry some boxes!!

First Steps, Work, and Packing!!

Liam took his first two steps yesterday without holding on to anything! Cory and I watched him in his play yard waddle from the corner to the door!! It was exciting, but of course then we tried to get it on video and he wouldn't do it again!! What a stinker!! Whenever we finally catch him in the act I will post the evidence!!

I have a job interview tomorrow at 1pm! Yeah! After lots of searching I finally found a position available at Columbia Regional in Labor and Delivery!! I am praying things will go well tomorrow and I will have a job that is only 10 minutes from our new house!! I am really going to miss my girls at Barnes and wish I could take my job with me when we move!!!

My mom came down this past weekend and helped me pack up our basement and the kitchen!! I didn't think we had much left to do, but I was wrong!!! My mom and I managed to pack up an additional 20 boxes to add to the 25 boxes and tubs I had already packed up!! Then, yesterday Cory and I cleaned out the garage and loaded up the car full of stuff to donate to Goodwill! Between the trash pile, recycle pile, donation stuff, items I am selling on Craigslist, and boxes of stuff to keep, I began to wonder....WHERE THE HECK DID ALL THIS STUFF COME FROM??

I will keep you all updated with all the Peck family happenings!!

Standing Alone

Liam has started to get brave in the last week. He stands for a few seconds by himself without holding on!! He does best if he has something in his hands to occupy him or else he just gets scared and sits down! Wow is he growing too fast! He looks like a little man!

Quick Update!

Just wanted to update everyone! We are moving into a rental house in Columbia, MO on August 1st! Our house is being rented out for 6 months to a year and then hopefully being purchased during this time. Once our house sells here then we can start looking at buying a new house!! We are excited for the move...but dreading it at the same time!!

Here is the house we will be living in until atleast next July!! I will post more pictures once we get settled in!

Mr. Liam Peck my personal assistant! Whenever I am on the computer he thinks he needs to be watching the screen too!! So I let him sit next to me and help! (This usually turns into him on top of the desk typing with his knees and grabbing at the screen!)

My assistant handles all my phone calls!!

My assistant also has a great smile and makes me laugh all day!! I love my JOB!! Being a MOMMY!

I had to throw in this one!! Liam's two favorite foods right now are 1. Cottage Cheese 2. Grapes
He loves to EAT and only REAL food! No more baby food for him! But, I can't say I blame him!

Happy 4th of July!!

Our neighbors came over yesterday evening and we had a little BBQ and watched the fireworks in our neighborhood! The fireworks were actually pretty good, but we got rained on most of the time. Liam did not like them at all!! He cried everytime a big one would go off and he kept going to sleep and getting woke up by big booms! Finally after putting a radio on in his room he was able to go to sleep and stay asleep. We had fun and maybe next year Liam won't be as scared!?

Jeremy was holding his son Talon and Liam felt left out!!

Liam's friend and playmate Talon

Liam had fun crawling around on the deck and splashing in puddles.

Can You Believe it has been 10 months!?

Well I started this posting the other day on his actual 10 month birthday, but did not get it done! So, here it finally is!
I can't believe he is 10 months old!!! He is growing so fast it seems like I can't even keep up with all of his newly learned talents. He is starting to stand for a few seconds without holding anything and walks behind his walker toys all over the house!! He has heard us say "Be nice to the dog" "Don't pull the dogs hair" "Don't give the dog your food" "Leave the dog alone" "Don't hit the dog" and many more sentences referring to the dogs. Therefore, he has learned to say dog. It sounds more like "Don" so I guess we might have to get another dog name it Don and he will be set!! But he will look right at Truman and say it over and over again! It is cute and funny!
Here are a few pictures from this past week!

Smile Big Liam!
