Trunk or Treat-Halloween 2010

We participated in our church's Halloween event called Trunk or Treat. We had a great time decorating our trunk in a western theme and handing out candy and pamphlets about The Good News of our Lord and Savior! We had over 300 kids and their families come and participate in the games and play in the bounce house. It was a great time with our friends and Liam had a blast too! A reporter from a local newspaper came by and took pictures and wrote up a little story about the night. You can check it out at this web address http://comoneighborhoods.wordpress.com/2010/10/31/center-point-trunk-or-treat-brings-light-to-halloween/
Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas! Oh wait...it was Halloween...Pastor Doug and his wife Sally decided to bring some Christmas spirit to our Trunk or Treat event! The kids loved it!

Daddy and Liam sharing a sucker! Liam thought he should get to eat ALL the candy he collected!

Our trunk!

YEEEE HAAAWW! Ridem' Cowboy!

Our little cowboy taking it all in! He had a wonderful time!

We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!

Yee Haw...its Autumn!

Our church had a western night and we all dressed up! Liam of course loves this! Anytime he gets to wear his cowboy hat he is happy! We had a fried chicken dinner and yummy cobbler for dessert! We had fun listening to a vocal group and chatting with friends. Liam had a great time watching Toy Story and playing too!

YEEEEEE HAW!! Liam has to squat and clench his fists while saying this!! He really gets into it!

There were hay bails for the kids to play on. At first he just watched the other kids, but it didn't take long for our lil' cowboy to jump right in!

Riding stick horses on the hay!

The kids watched Toy Story and Liam seemed to have found a girlfriend for the night! LOL She might be just a little to old for my likings! Hehe! But, hey that had matching outfits!
Last weekend we went to Peach Tree Farms in Booneville. This is the second year we have gone and Liam loved it even more this year! It is very pretty and fun for the whole family! There are many animals, including goats, sheep, bunnies, turkeys, chickens, donkeys, pigs, and they even had a 70lb catfish that someone had caught in the river! Or as Liam calls them all "Baaa", "Buns", "Chicka", "Neigh", "Oink Oink" and my favorite "BIG Pish!"

Liam and Daddy checking out the Donkey...notice the double fence...he bites!!!

This goat managed to get between the two fences somehow...those things will do anything for food!

Daddy and Liam feeding the sheep...Liam giggled every time they would lick his hand!

This one was very curious of my camera and he actually tried to eat the wristband off. Pretty neat picture though!

Liam and Mommy navigating the straw maze!! It was actually VERY dark in there, but my flash lit it up very nicely! Low Clearance!! Mommy's back was sore when we were done!

This was probably Liam's favorite part of the whole place!! It is an old trailer for hauling prisoners. He thought it was pretty neat and didn't want to get out! This is only time I want to see you behind bars like that little man!!

Riding the corn husk horse! Yee Haw Daddy!

The baby goats were just his size and very gentle too!

Mommy and Liam feeding the baby goats! It is funny they would eat the grass only if we pulled it and hand fed it to them! Guess they get lazy with everyone feeding all day!

Let me out of HERE!!

Daddy and Liam in Jail! Troublemakers!

Then we went on a hay ride! Liam covered himself with hay and then threw it all over me too! He waved and said bye to all the animals!

Taking a picture of ourselves! We have gotten pretty good at this over the years! Although it did take a couple shots!

We ended the trip with some yummy popcorn, held and petted the bunnies, and picked out a couple pretty pumpkins to decorate later! We might have to make this a yearly trip! Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Autumn weather!

Liam Wesley is TWO!!

Well it has been awhile since I have posted anything! We have been busy. Liam had surgery at the end of July in St Louis. Everything went smoothly and he is back to his old spunky self! We went to the State Fair this year. Liam was not fond of the truck and tractor pull like Cory had hoped, so while daddy stayed to watch the loud trucks I took Liam to see all the animals. He LOVED it so much! Especially the horses...or "neighs" as he calls them.
Cory's dad Jay and Gail came down a couple weekends ago to bring Liam his birthday present (John Deere Wagon)! He has so much fun riding in it! They also took him to ChuckECheese to play games...he was a little scared of all the noise, but we all had fun playing games! Thanks!

Then his big birthday party was over Labor Day Weekend. My sister and her family flew in and many more friend and family came. It was a wonderful weekend and Liam had a very special time at his party! Thank You EVERYONE!
Liam and Daddy holding baby Owen! Liam loves his little cousin and always says, "Hold Baby"

Liam got finger paints from Uncle Austin (We will get you back)
Aunt Andrea thought of the brilliant idea to have them pain their bodies...what a huge mess!

But they both had so much fun!

Liam's Elmo Cake!! The red icing was a challenge, but thanks to my wonderful hubby for making a trip to St Joe at the last minute...it turned out perfect!! Ace of Cakes you got nothing on me!! LOL

Owen sleeping in Aunt Cindy's arms...I like to call her the Baby Whisperer...she can always calm down and screaming baby and get them to sleep! He looks so cute and so comfy!
Such a Big boy! TWO!! Luckily this is his favorite number to say!!
Mari Grace loves her baby dolls! She is such a good little "mommy" and great BIG Sis!
Pa made Liam a step stool and the letters to his name are puzzle pieces! He loves this!
