Merry Christmas To All...

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas! I slacked this year on getting cards sent out. There is just something about working nights and having a very active one year old that takes up a lot of my time!!! So, I guess this my Christmas Blog Post-Card!!

Things are still going well at the Peck house. Cory is still keeping busy with his company, and they have now successfully been in business for over 2 years. The business is growing all the time and doing very well, which is a huge blessing in these rough economic times. I am enjoying my job at Columbia Regional Hospital Family Birth Center and I'm still loving to help bring babies into the world!! It is such a rewarding career! Liam is growing like a weed and expanding his talents each and every day. His favorite words are..."Dog"and "No". Every animal he sees is a Dog and every question is answered with No. OH Boy, I think we are in for a real treat as he is getting more and more independent and opinionated every day. The temper tantrums are a not so pleasant new and frequent occurrence. He has enjoyed playing with the Christmas decorations and we had fun going to see Santa. (Although he was not to excited about sitting on his lap!) Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.
I think this is what he asked Santa for!?

Mommy and Liam waiting to see Santa.

Looking all cute and innocent...just so Santa will come I am sure of it!!

How cute!

Our tree...well after Liam got a hold of it!

Busted!! He quickly learned which ornaments were okay to touch and play with!!

He insisted on putting Daddy's boot on!

Lookin' coool in Daddy's boots!

He loves to give kisses! Look at those beautiful lips!!
WISHING EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! GOD BLESS! LOVE THE PECKS

So Everyone Can Enjoy!!

Here are all of the pictures we had taken back in September! I didn't know if everyone got to see them, so I thought I would post them real quick!
I am going to try to send out Christmas cards, but if I don't get on the ball it might be the new year before we know it!! So, if you don't get one...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Time has gone by way to fast this year and I still have so many things I could think of to do before it ends, but we have had a good 2009!! Hope the same for you all!

Lions, and Monkeys, and Boots....OH MY!!

Hello everyone!! Hope this posting finds everyone healthy and dodging all the illnesses out there!! If not we pray that everyone feels better and hope to see most of you during the holidays. Our family had a little 24 hour bug last weekend and I am glad that it is finally gone! NO MORE!!

Liam went to his first visit at our new pediatrician today. I really like the doctor and it is nice because I work with him too. It was a rough one for the little man. He received 5 vaccines and also had to have some routine lab work done and was stuck twice for that. So, 7 needle sticks later we finally made it home, and Liam was still his fun and happy self for the most part. The Dr said, "He looks very healthy and is doing VERY well developmentally." He weighed in at 23lbs 10oz (50th percentile) and 33in tall (95th percentile). He is still tall and skinny!
Liam has been talking a lot lately. Some of which is of course babble, but he has also become very good at saying some new words. His vocabulary thus far consists of....Yes, No, Hi, Mama, Dada, and Dog. The one we are still working on is "TeeToo" (thank you).

Well until next time...here are some pictures from the past few weeks!!

Splashing in the tub at Grampy and Grammy Quirks!

Look at those hair-dos!! The cousins love to play together!

This why Mari had a Monkey birthday party, and dressed as a Monkey for Halloween. She is a MONKEY!!

Just chillin' in the rocking chair! This was mommy's chair when she was little.

MY NEW FAVORITE PIC of the two kiddos!! Uncle Greg took us for some hot laps around the house!!

Mari had her own chauffeur the whole weekend. Liam loved to push her around.

Look at that studly pose! So, my parents got Liam these snow boots and he LOVES them! He brings them to me, and whines until I put them on him so he can wear them around the house. (Such a good photo for future embarrassment!)

"Ride 'em Cowboy"

"I am ready to go outside and play!!"

My sis, Greg, and Mari were in town to celebrate Mari's 1st Birthday with the family! We had so much fun and Mari went to town on her yummy cake!

Liam wasn't too fond of the fur around his face at first, but he got used to it!!

"Hey Mari, watch me...this is how you eat a wood chip!!" Love Liam. Already being such a bad influence!! Haha

Liam the Lion and Mari the Monkey. So much fun together!

Liam the Lion and Daddy watching all the Trick or Treaters walk by.

Liam and Mommy were getting over a little stomach virus, so on Halloween night we just hung out at home and handed out candy. Maybe next year it will be a little more fun for all of us!

The Hawkeyes sweatshirt is only being worn for Grandpa!!
Notice the face full of orange stuff! Liam thought he needed to eat a spoonful!

Pumpkins, Goats, and a Hayride

Fall is finally here and the cold weather seems to be quickly coming! So before it got too extremely chilly out, Sunday we took Liam to Peach Tree Farms about 15 minutes from our house. We all had a fun time together! Liam loves being outside no matter what we are doing!
He was able to feed and pet the goats, but he was scared of the big adult goats. Once we found the baby goats that were more his size he thought they were pretty neat, although he did called them dogs! It was pretty funny. Every time we walked our rode by them he pointed and yelled "Dog! Dog!" Then, we walked through the pumpkin patches, held the baby bunnies, ate some popcorn, and went for a hayride (Liam was mad he had to ride in the trailer and he couldn't drive the tractor). He made engine noises for most of the hayride. Finally, we picked out a couple of pumpkins to bring home. We are going to carve the big pumpkin tonight! Happy Autumn Everyone!!

Horse made from corn stalks

Yee haw! Ride em Cowboy!

Hayride...Liam pointing out the tractor! Although it wasn't John Deere, so daddy said it was the wrong color!!

What a fun fall day as a family!
Yum Popcorn!
Look at that big pumpkin!!
The baby goats loved to eat out of our hands.
Feeding the goats with Daddy.

Liam yelling, "Dog, Dog"
Baby Goats...or Dogs
Those goats are crazy!!
Going to pick a pumpkin!

Mommy and Liam as pumpkins! Liam was not too interested in putting his face in the hole!!
We had lots of fun and can't wait to go back next year!!
