Christmas with the family!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! WE sure did! Liam's 1st Christmas was very special!! We went back home for the holidays and stayed at the Quirk house!! We had lots of family gatherings starting Christmas Eve and lasting until Saturday. It was a busy time and Liam didn't get very many naps in, but it was great to see everyone and for Liam to have his 1st Christmas with all of our family and friends made it all worth the busy schedule!!

We went home for a friends wedding last weekend and we got to spend some time with Liam's Great Grandparents. Here is a short video I caught of them together.

Just a little update here....
Cory's concrete cutting and coring business that him and 3 other guys started last September is doing really well, which is great, but the only downfall is Cory is having to drive 1.5 hours every day to and from Ashland, MO (which is near Columbia). This is where the shop is located. Therefore, Cory and I put our house on the market in October planning on moving near Columbia again. We have had about 6 or 7 people look at it but no offers, so as of today we took the house off the market for the winter. We will be placing it back on in the spring. Hopefully by then the economy and the housing market will look a little bit better for us. We are just praying that the house will sell in God's perfect timing.

I have been working every other weekend Friday through Monday and so far it is working out really well for us. I get to be home with Liam the other 10 days and either our nanny Sylvia or my Dad has been babysitting!! We are so grateful for Grandpa!!! He is the best babysitter!!

We are excited about coming home for Christmas and hope to see everyone really soon!!

Liam enjoys being naked and eating his rice cereal cause then he can make as big of a mess as he wants!! When we got done with this feeding he had cereal in his hair and all the way down to his belly button! But Yummy was it good!

3 MONTHS OLD

I can't believe Liam is already 3 months old! It has been an exciting 3 months and we have loved every minute of it! Here are some of the most recent pictures of the little man!!

Grandma and Grandpa Quirk came down for Thanksgiving! We had lots of yummy food! Then Grandpa stayed and babysat for two days while mommy and daddy worked! We had lots of fun together and I can't wait to spend more time with them both!

Baths, Smiles, and Rice Cereal

So we definitely have an eater on our hands. Even though the pediatrician said that he does not need any solid foods until 4 months we started with some rice cereal last night! The boy is hungry all the time and so he still is waking up in the middle of the night every 3 hours to eat! Very little of the cereal made in his tummy because he was wearing most of it! It was quite humorous. I tried to feed him it in his bottle and he wouldn't take it, so then I nursed him and tried the cereal on a spoon, cup feeding, and with a dropper. All of it made a HUGE mess, but I guess it will just take some time for him to get used to the new texture and taste! Hopefully soon we will get some more sleep, but if not oh well we still love everything about him!
