I can't believe it has been over a month since I posted last. I look at the pictures from the last post and it feels like I just took them the other day!! My oh my, how the time surely does pass by quickly. We have been keeping busy with the usual....LIAM! He is always on the move and loves to be outside! I am already having a hard time keeping up with his exponential growth!! He is already wearing 3T clothing....which is only a bummer because I bought a whole bunch of used clothing for him for fall and now I have a hunch it is going to be too small for my little giant!! LOL Here are some pics from the last month...
Yummy!! Yogurt!!
This is one of MANY faces Liam makes when you ask him to smile or say cheese!!
Here is another!
And yet one more! Cool Shades...he broke them about a minute after the picture was taken!(Check out the cool Sesame Street couch!)
We bought him this sandbox with attached picnic table. He loves the table...HATES the sand!! He refuses to play in it, so we are going to empty out the sand and turn it into a little wading pool.
Okay...the next three pictures I had to put on here just because he makes these faces that make me laugh. We were eating lunch with some friends and these are the faces he gave me when I asked him to smile.
gOoFy!
GoOfY!
So this past Friday we took Liam to St Louis for a consultation and second opinion regarding his surgery he had back in October. Cory and I really felt like there was something wrong cosmetically with it and we wanted to have a specialist look at it. Although we were mentally prepared for him to undergo more than one surgery...it was still sad to find out that it was going to be a necessity for him to have the second surgery. We scheduled the surgery for July 29th. It should not be as invasive as his first surgery, but we would appreciate your prayers for a smooth recovery and complete healing so this is the last time Liam has to go through this!!
So, since we were already in St Louis and had the rest of the day to ourselves. We decided to take Liam to the zoo. He had been before, but not since he was 9 months old. The first few animals (Bears and Penguins) he cried and kept saying bye-bye, so we thought this was going to be a short visit at the zoo, but he ended up liking the rest of the animals. Especially the primate house, the reptiles, and the big cats!! It was fun and nice to spend the whole day together!
Sunday we went back to St Louis again...but this time to go to the Cardinals game. Amy and Steve got us tickets, so we joined them and some of Steve's family at the game. We had a great time, and luckily we were in the shade the whole game!! Good thing because it was 93 degrees!!
Thanks Amy and Steve for a fun day at the ballpark and a yummy dinner!
