The Peck Family has been busy and there is much more to come this summer!! This past week Liam had a viral infection...after some research of my own and talking to the call nurse at the pediatrician's office, I think he had Roseola. He had a fever one day that came down pretty quickly and then developed a rash all over his face, arms and belly!! Thank goodness he wasn't too sick and it was all gone by Saturday morning because we had plans!!

April 28th will be our 2 year anniversary. As a gift my parents got us a night at a hotel on the Plaza in KCMO this weekend. We met them in Independence and they took Liam and the dogs back to their house!! Cory and I spent all day Saturday walking around the Plaza, eating at the Cheesecake Factory, and going to see the movie "The Soloist". We had such a great time and we appreciate their gift so much! Thanks Mom and Dad/Grams and Gramps (I just made up those nicknames Haha)!! The pictures below include a picture of us at the hotel on the Plaza, and some other pics of Liam looking cute as always!!!

Some new things Liam has to tell you...
1) I finally got my first taste of dog food after many interrupted attempts by the Parents...I don't know why they freak out so much it is not too bad!! Now every time I go back to where the bowls were they have hid the bowls somewhere. Next mission....find the dog food hiding place and eat some more!!
2) I figured out how to stand up by pulling myself up on anything I can find....coffee table, couch, my playzone, pack n play, and finally today in my crib...(see video above). Mom and Dad better watch out I will figure this walking thing out here soon! Next mission....climb onto, over, and out of playzone and crib!!
3) These puppies of mine do not like their hair, tail, ears, or any other body part pulled, chewed, or slapped. Next mission....get new puppies that will let me do all of the above!!

Easter, Rolls, and a Bath!!

We had a fun Easter weekend! We went back to Rushville and spent the holiday with Cory's family. My family was in Colorado with my sis and her family celebrating Easter and Andrea's 30th birthday!! Here are a few pictures from the weekend and the last couple of days here!!

We went to Jay's house on Saturday and spent the afternoon playing with his tractors and John Deere stuff. Liam loved wearing PaPa's John Deere hat.

Easter Sunday we went to Sugar Creek Christian Church with Nana, Steve, Granny and Grandad and the whole gang. Then we went back to Nana's and had lunch with everyone!!

We went out to dinner on Monday and Liam had a dinner roll!! He loved it!! But after awhile we had to take it away because he was trying to put the whole soggy thing in his mouth!!

Liam LOVES his new bath seat from Nana and Steve, and all the new bath toys the Easter Bunny brought him!!

Liam's New Play Zone

Liam was getting into everything! Even to the extent that he was pulling stuff over and stuff was falling on his head. It was getting to the point I couldn't get anything else done but chase him around. So, I purchased this foam play mat on Ebay and Liam loves to scoot around on it. Then yesterday I purchased a play yard to put on the mat from a lady that lives 15 minutes from my house. I love Craigs List!! For half the price as brand new!! Now Liam has a lot more room to move around safely!! He loves it!! So does mommy and daddy!!

What a stubborn child...

Liam is 7 months old today!! I decided to take some pictures for this and Easter combined. I thought I would do them like I did for his 6 month ones. Well, they did not turn out to be as good....as you will see in the next few photos Liam was not willing to sit still for a split second!! I actually had two outfits out to take pictures in, but scratch that idea....

Here is his Easter basket!! I know it is early but I work this weekend and then we are going to Nana Amy's for Easter, so I went ahead and gave it to him today!! Kind of an Easter/Half birthday +1 month gift!!! And, as you can see he couldn't keep his hands off of it for just one second!! The Easter bunny brought him some yogurt bites, a stuffed bunny, two books (Elmo and Peter Rabbit), and the monkey/ball toy that he can chase around the room!!! Fun stuff!!

Funny thing is he didn't mind wearing the ears for pictures....but to take just a normal picture was not cool!!!
