Summer Days!

This past weekend all three of us were in some friend's wedding. We had a great time and Liam did such a great job! It was his first time wearing a tux...or a "monkey suit" as Cory calls it, and Liam did not fuss a bit about it!! He even walked all the way down the aisle and carried his little ring bearer pillow the whole way! Then at the reception he busted a move on the dance floor. I will try to post a pic of his awesome moves!

He had something stuck to his foot...he was determined to get it off himself!!

They only think they are tough!!

Dancing Dancing Dancing

He even did the twist with his momma!!

He found some ladies to dance with too...actually he was trying to take her baby doll!! LOL

Mommy's two men groovin to the music...

The bride and her bridesmaids!

Busted...decorating the car...I didn't get a finished picture but they wrapped saranwrap around the entire thing!!

Stud Muffin...
These next pictures are from the 4th of July. We spent the weekend at Grampy and Grammy Quirk's. We had fun swimming, making ice cream, watching movies, and playing!! The Wise's and the Sang's came down from Iowa to visit. We had such a great time with family and we hope to see you all real soon!

Liam and Daddy hanging out in the tree!

Cheesey smile for the camera!

Aunt Cindy helping Liam spy on the neighbors...LOL this makes me laugh every time!

Liam and "Pa"...as Liam calls him...making ice cream!! It was super Yummy!!

Liam wanted to pick all the berries off of the pretty dessert!!

Liam pulled all of our sandals off and made us get in his pool with him. I stepped out real quick to snap the photo and he got mad and made me get back in!! He can be a funny little man!!

NO MORE FEAR!! I knew it was going to be a phase...but he finally has no fear of the water...head first down the slide he goes...and then he went about a hundred more times!!

"Mee-Mee"..as Liam calls her...snuggling with the little fish...

He just loved going down head first!! The second he pulled his head above water he would say, "More, More"

What a cute pic!! I can't believe how big he is...

Talking to the neighbors through the fence...just like Wilson on Home Improvement! LOL I think this picture is just too cute..."Like Grandpa...Like Grandson"

These last two pictures are Liam playing in his sandbox....which as you can see he is not afraid of it anymore either!!

Our Trip to Breckenridge

Liam and Mommy flew to Breckenridge last week, to meet the newest addition to our extended family. My nephew Owen James. We had a wonderful time visiting and it was great to see the cousins playing together. It was kind of like a three ring circus at times. Especially with a newborn crying, two toddlers screaming "NO MINE", and toys strewn through the house like a tornado had just hit! But, all in all we enjoyed ourselves and I miss them already. Here are a few pictures from the trip.
Mari is such a GrEaT BIG sister!!

Big Yawn from Owen...he already thinks we are boring!!

Getting ready to leave...so hard to say goodbye!

The Three Musketeers!

It was hard to get all three to even sit on the couch together!!

Pretty Girl!! She know how to smile great for the camera!

Double Trouble!! I can't believe how BIG they are!!

Going outside to play!

Liam in deep thought...okay maybe just pooping!?!

I LOVE this picture!! Just so silly! Smiles and Kisses!

Owen James-a little over 2 weeks old. What a handsome face!

How he slept while the other two ran wild is beyond me?!

Good Morning! Watching Elmo...or as Liam calls him "MO"...and Mari calls him "MELMO"
Either Way they both LOVE HIM!!
Helping each other up the stairs! For not seeing each other much, they do get along really well!

Going down the slide! Wheeeeee

Liam was obsessed with the dogs the entire time. Especially the black dog-Bogey!

Liam's turn on the slide.

Mari trying to touch her head on the roof...

Being Silly...So Fun!!
Thanks for the wonderful time! We can't wait to see you all SOON!!

Many Places and Many Faces

I can't believe it has been over a month since I posted last. I look at the pictures from the last post and it feels like I just took them the other day!! My oh my, how the time surely does pass by quickly. We have been keeping busy with the usual....LIAM! He is always on the move and loves to be outside! I am already having a hard time keeping up with his exponential growth!! He is already wearing 3T clothing....which is only a bummer because I bought a whole bunch of used clothing for him for fall and now I have a hunch it is going to be too small for my little giant!! LOL Here are some pics from the last month...

Yummy!! Yogurt!!

This is one of MANY faces Liam makes when you ask him to smile or say cheese!!

Here is another!

And yet one more! Cool Shades...he broke them about a minute after the picture was taken!(Check out the cool Sesame Street couch!)

We bought him this sandbox with attached picnic table. He loves the table...HATES the sand!! He refuses to play in it, so we are going to empty out the sand and turn it into a little wading pool.

Grammy and Grampy bought this for Liam and he loves this toy VERY much!
Okay...the next three pictures I had to put on here just because he makes these faces that make me laugh. We were eating lunch with some friends and these are the faces he gave me when I asked him to smile.

gOoFy!

GoOfY!

and...more gOoFy!!
So this past Friday we took Liam to St Louis for a consultation and second opinion regarding his surgery he had back in October. Cory and I really felt like there was something wrong cosmetically with it and we wanted to have a specialist look at it. Although we were mentally prepared for him to undergo more than one surgery...it was still sad to find out that it was going to be a necessity for him to have the second surgery. We scheduled the surgery for July 29th. It should not be as invasive as his first surgery, but we would appreciate your prayers for a smooth recovery and complete healing so this is the last time Liam has to go through this!!
So, since we were already in St Louis and had the rest of the day to ourselves. We decided to take Liam to the zoo. He had been before, but not since he was 9 months old. The first few animals (Bears and Penguins) he cried and kept saying bye-bye, so we thought this was going to be a short visit at the zoo, but he ended up liking the rest of the animals. Especially the primate house, the reptiles, and the big cats!! It was fun and nice to spend the whole day together!

Riding the train at the zoo. It doesn't look like it in this picture...but he loved it!
Sunday we went back to St Louis again...but this time to go to the Cardinals game. Amy and Steve got us tickets, so we joined them and some of Steve's family at the game. We had a great time, and luckily we were in the shade the whole game!! Good thing because it was 93 degrees!!

Steve, Nana, and Liam

Liam practicing his "Go Cards!" cheers

Cards beat the Angel in the 10th inning 6-5. It was a great game to see!

A great family photo! Go Cards!

Liam being his GoOfY self again!!

He was getting tired towards the end of the game and doing anything to keep himself awake!! Including back bends over Nana's lap!

We had to go with the rally cap...it was a close game but luckily the Cards pulled it off!

Thanks Amy and Steve for a fun day at the ballpark and a yummy dinner!

Enjoying Spring!

Praise the Lord for Spring!! Liam would live outdoors if I would let him, and there may have been a few times when I have thought it was a good idea too! LOL We have been really enjoying the nice weather. Going to the park, walking the dogs, playing in the backyard, and Liam's new favorite thing...eating lunch and snacks outside. He is getting so big and amazing Cory and I with newly learned talents everyday!
He of course is still growing like a weed! Weighing 30lbs and almost 35 inches tall. With that said...he obviously has no problem with eating!! The other night for dinner we had steak on the grill and Liam polished off a 6oz piece of steak by himself with no problem, and still had room for some veggies and of course a couple vanilla wafers!!! Minus the half of a baked potato that I ate...the kid ate the same thing as his mom!! Oh and let me remind you....he is only 19 months!!! Cory and I both decided we were going to have to take second jobs to afford his food consumption when he gets to be a teenager!! LOL
We hope everyone had a blessed Easter season and may you all have a wonderful Spring!!

Bubble time!

The first attempt at smiling and saying cheese!! He is a lot better at it now! The picture at the top or the blog shows his better smile!

Giddy-up Giddy-up...or as Liam says it E-Up E-Up

Mommy you want a bite?

Snack time! Yummy applesauce!

Cool dude in his shades!

Looking so handsome getting ready to go to church.

Yummy! Liam is getting really good at eating with his own silverware!

Enjoying his cottage cheese on the back porch!
