Many Places and Many Faces

I can't believe it has been over a month since I posted last. I look at the pictures from the last post and it feels like I just took them the other day!! My oh my, how the time surely does pass by quickly. We have been keeping busy with the usual....LIAM! He is always on the move and loves to be outside! I am already having a hard time keeping up with his exponential growth!! He is already wearing 3T clothing....which is only a bummer because I bought a whole bunch of used clothing for him for fall and now I have a hunch it is going to be too small for my little giant!! LOL Here are some pics from the last month...

Yummy!! Yogurt!!

This is one of MANY faces Liam makes when you ask him to smile or say cheese!!

Here is another!

And yet one more! Cool Shades...he broke them about a minute after the picture was taken!(Check out the cool Sesame Street couch!)

We bought him this sandbox with attached picnic table. He loves the table...HATES the sand!! He refuses to play in it, so we are going to empty out the sand and turn it into a little wading pool.

Grammy and Grampy bought this for Liam and he loves this toy VERY much!
Okay...the next three pictures I had to put on here just because he makes these faces that make me laugh. We were eating lunch with some friends and these are the faces he gave me when I asked him to smile.

gOoFy!

GoOfY!

and...more gOoFy!!
So this past Friday we took Liam to St Louis for a consultation and second opinion regarding his surgery he had back in October. Cory and I really felt like there was something wrong cosmetically with it and we wanted to have a specialist look at it. Although we were mentally prepared for him to undergo more than one surgery...it was still sad to find out that it was going to be a necessity for him to have the second surgery. We scheduled the surgery for July 29th. It should not be as invasive as his first surgery, but we would appreciate your prayers for a smooth recovery and complete healing so this is the last time Liam has to go through this!!
So, since we were already in St Louis and had the rest of the day to ourselves. We decided to take Liam to the zoo. He had been before, but not since he was 9 months old. The first few animals (Bears and Penguins) he cried and kept saying bye-bye, so we thought this was going to be a short visit at the zoo, but he ended up liking the rest of the animals. Especially the primate house, the reptiles, and the big cats!! It was fun and nice to spend the whole day together!

Riding the train at the zoo. It doesn't look like it in this picture...but he loved it!
Sunday we went back to St Louis again...but this time to go to the Cardinals game. Amy and Steve got us tickets, so we joined them and some of Steve's family at the game. We had a great time, and luckily we were in the shade the whole game!! Good thing because it was 93 degrees!!

Steve, Nana, and Liam

Liam practicing his "Go Cards!" cheers

Cards beat the Angel in the 10th inning 6-5. It was a great game to see!

A great family photo! Go Cards!

Liam being his GoOfY self again!!

He was getting tired towards the end of the game and doing anything to keep himself awake!! Including back bends over Nana's lap!

We had to go with the rally cap...it was a close game but luckily the Cards pulled it off!

Thanks Amy and Steve for a fun day at the ballpark and a yummy dinner!

Enjoying Spring!

Praise the Lord for Spring!! Liam would live outdoors if I would let him, and there may have been a few times when I have thought it was a good idea too! LOL We have been really enjoying the nice weather. Going to the park, walking the dogs, playing in the backyard, and Liam's new favorite thing...eating lunch and snacks outside. He is getting so big and amazing Cory and I with newly learned talents everyday!
He of course is still growing like a weed! Weighing 30lbs and almost 35 inches tall. With that said...he obviously has no problem with eating!! The other night for dinner we had steak on the grill and Liam polished off a 6oz piece of steak by himself with no problem, and still had room for some veggies and of course a couple vanilla wafers!!! Minus the half of a baked potato that I ate...the kid ate the same thing as his mom!! Oh and let me remind you....he is only 19 months!!! Cory and I both decided we were going to have to take second jobs to afford his food consumption when he gets to be a teenager!! LOL
We hope everyone had a blessed Easter season and may you all have a wonderful Spring!!

Bubble time!

The first attempt at smiling and saying cheese!! He is a lot better at it now! The picture at the top or the blog shows his better smile!

Giddy-up Giddy-up...or as Liam says it E-Up E-Up

Mommy you want a bite?

Snack time! Yummy applesauce!

Cool dude in his shades!

Looking so handsome getting ready to go to church.

Yummy! Liam is getting really good at eating with his own silverware!

Enjoying his cottage cheese on the back porch!

Playing at the Park & Liam's First Haircut

Liam and Mommy going down the slide together

He tried so hard to climb this slide!! He was very determined.

Enjoying the beautiful weather at the park!

Waiting for his haircut! This is how Liam feels about waiting in line!

Before the haircut....look at that frizzy mess!

He did such a good job. He didn't mind it the least bit! Just sat patiently.

Look at that handsome little man!

What did we do before Liam??

On Thursday evening Cory met my mom in Kansas City and sent Liam to Grampy and Grammy's house for the weekend. Well, he was going to come home today, but I think my Mom and Dad prayed real hard for lots snow so he could stay longer!! HaHa So I am meeting my Dad tomorrow afternoon to pick him up.

At first, Cory and I didn't know what to do with him gone. The first night we were both thinking to ourselves...so....what did we do before we had a little Liam to chase after!?!? Hmmmm....don't remember!!! Oh wait...we went out on dates!!! So we decided we were going to have a date weekend...not just a date night!! So Friday, we went to dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant and then went out to a comedy show. It was a lot of fun and dinner didn't involve cutting food into tiny pieces or baby wipes!!! Then Saturday morning, Cory went out shooting clay pigeons with some friends while I got to do my favorite thing before I had a kid....SLEEP IN LATE!!! Now I am talking like after lunch time late....it was AWESOME!! Then Saturday night I cooked dinner and then we went to the movies! An actual movie in the theaters...not a RedBox DVD. Then today we went to church and cleaned house. We found it to be a lot quicker without someone following behind you messing it back up again!! It was a relaxing weekend, but we sure do miss our BABY!! Liam's New Radio Flyer Trike at Grampy and Grammy's house. He was getting to big for the toys at there house so of course Grammy took him toy shopping!! This was one of the many picture messages my Dad sent me over the weekend. He made sure to keep us up to date on Liam's fun weekend!!

Merry Christmas To All...

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas! I slacked this year on getting cards sent out. There is just something about working nights and having a very active one year old that takes up a lot of my time!!! So, I guess this my Christmas Blog Post-Card!!

Things are still going well at the Peck house. Cory is still keeping busy with his company, and they have now successfully been in business for over 2 years. The business is growing all the time and doing very well, which is a huge blessing in these rough economic times. I am enjoying my job at Columbia Regional Hospital Family Birth Center and I'm still loving to help bring babies into the world!! It is such a rewarding career! Liam is growing like a weed and expanding his talents each and every day. His favorite words are..."Dog"and "No". Every animal he sees is a Dog and every question is answered with No. OH Boy, I think we are in for a real treat as he is getting more and more independent and opinionated every day. The temper tantrums are a not so pleasant new and frequent occurrence. He has enjoyed playing with the Christmas decorations and we had fun going to see Santa. (Although he was not to excited about sitting on his lap!) Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.
I think this is what he asked Santa for!?

Mommy and Liam waiting to see Santa.

Looking all cute and innocent...just so Santa will come I am sure of it!!

How cute!

Our tree...well after Liam got a hold of it!

Busted!! He quickly learned which ornaments were okay to touch and play with!!

He insisted on putting Daddy's boot on!

Lookin' coool in Daddy's boots!

He loves to give kisses! Look at those beautiful lips!!
WISHING EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! GOD BLESS! LOVE THE PECKS

So Everyone Can Enjoy!!

Here are all of the pictures we had taken back in September! I didn't know if everyone got to see them, so I thought I would post them real quick!
I am going to try to send out Christmas cards, but if I don't get on the ball it might be the new year before we know it!! So, if you don't get one...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Time has gone by way to fast this year and I still have so many things I could think of to do before it ends, but we have had a good 2009!! Hope the same for you all!
